Introducing “Been There. Drank That.” — a fun, social, and rewarding way to explore the incredible breweries that make up the Trail.

🚗 The Challenge

Visit as many South Coast Ale Trail breweries as you can.

At each stop:

• Grab a beer 🍺
• Take a photo of yourself enjoying it
• Make sure the brewery is clearly identifiable in the shot

Then share your journey with the world.

1. Visit any South Coast Ale Trail brewery
2. Take a photo of yourself with your beer (brewery must be recognisable)
3. Post it on Facebook
4. Tag @southcoastaletrail
5. Use the hashtag #beentheredrankthat

That’s it — you’re in.

Every brewery you visit earns you credit:

• $1 credit for every participating brewery
• $2 credit for every Featured Brewery

• One credit per brewery visit
• Each brewery can only be claimed once per person
• Photos must clearly show the brewery location
• Posts must include tag and hashtag to be valid
• Credits are validated and redeemed at the South Coast Tap House only
• Credits can not be transferred and all credits must be redeemed before 31 December 2026

At South Coast Tap House, we believe beer should be more than just something you drink — it should be something you experience.

That’s why we’re launching Beerducation© — a series of relaxed, interactive beer education sessions designed to help people discover the incredible world of beer in a fun, welcoming, and social environment.

Hosted by Certified Cicerone® Beer Server and Beer Educator Nigel Ayling, these weekly group sessions combine guided tastings with stories, history, sensory training, and practical beer knowledge. Whether you’re completely new to beer or already a passionate beer lover, these sessions are designed to help you explore beer with confidence — without intimidation, pretension, or judgement.

Beerducation© is also a great way to meet new people. The sessions are run as open group experiences where guests can sit together, learn together, ask questions, share opinions, and discover new flavours in a supportive and relaxed environment.

Each Beerducation© session includes:

🍺 Guided beer tastings
🧠 Interactive beer education
👃 Aroma and flavour discovery
🍽 Beer and food pairing discussions
👥 A fun and social group atmosphere

These aren’t just beer tastings — they’re hands-on experiences designed to help you understand why beer tastes the way it does.

Sessions will run weekly with limited numbers to keep the experience personal, interactive, and engaging.
